Close Shave

We’re having some beautiful days in the low 20’s at the moment but working in 47c in February this year has made me detest summers and we’re in for a 40c this Wednesday and summer hasn’t officially started.  Maybe having this and this done was timely.

I’m getting quite a few comments about those wounds on my forehead and nose and my stock answer is, “You should see the other guy!”  I’m well into a 6 week course of Aldara to clear up the BCC’s and it’s coming along nicely so says the surgeon.  I finish taking it on Christmas Day and I’m told it should all heal up and give me the complexion of a baby.

Lucky I dribble.

I’m pretty sure Summer oficially starts Dec 1 in Australia…

Thomas – It depends if you take the meteorological summer or an astronomical one. The meteorological one starts at the beginning of the month of the particular season and is more generally accepted while the purists consider the two solstice and two equinox on the 21st of the month as the start of that particular season.

They could use you as a poster boy for quitting Crystal Meth, your scabby raw red face could be the “before” and your brand new baby-bum face the “after.”

Significant other never trusted me to cut his hair, and I went to beauty school! Now that money is tight he wants to give me a go, but now my carpal tunnel is a hindrance, and the fact that his hair is thinning and if I make a mistake it will show now.

AZ – My plastic surgeon does carpel tunnel too. Say Dog “Scabface” Bait sent you.

I notice that you didn’t actually indicate which PART of the baby your face will resemble….

shammy – A witty Canadian, eh! If it was the bum, it would still be a vast improvement.

I haven’t paid for a haircut for years. If Donna doesn’t do it for me, I do it myself. Fixing up the back of the neck is a bit of a problem though.

Steve – I’m looking forward to cheap haircuts.

Muppet’s pretty good at giving Daddy a number #1 cut, so when your locks start growing again just give us a holler and I’ll send her over with the clippers!

Not if I end up with a head like Daddy’s!

June – We DON’T tip in Oz.

Can’t say we are looking forward to Summer either. Having a haircut in a garden looks more fun than going to a barber, be more impressed if it was a drink in your hand.

A lot of people would be surprised if I had a drink in my hand.
