Ho, Ho, Ho!

Forget the Bah Humbug from my last post.  There is a Santa after all and I love him/her!

It’s all due to this photo.  746195696_RQafb-X3[1] Check out the cyclone crossing the North West coast of Oz taken today and that’s the reason for my merriment.  That’s going to cause “heavy, heavy rain” for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as quoted by the weather forecaster as it streams across the country.  In fact, 30mm to 50mm is being mooted for the biggest day of Yuletide.

Tought titties if you get stuck inside making small talk with the inlaws and the rubbernecks flooding into town get, err, flooded.

Deck the hall with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, fa la la la.
’Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, fa la la la.

Hooray, that’ll fill up the water tanks.
Wishing you a happy Christmas surrounded by friends and family…. maybe not picnicing on the beach if it’s gonna rain like that…. and may 2010 be good to you and your family. Keep on blogging, dogbait!

As per usual, let down and ended up with 2mm. Most of the rain skirted north of us. Actually, today is forecast to be a sunny 21c and there will be a lot of people out picnicking today.

Thanks for your good wishes and hope 2010 is great for you too.

    us too.

We also have rain in the forecast, but as always “rain” in Arizona means a few drops here and a few drops there, and I don’t live anywhere near “here” or “there.”

AZ – They’re called rain shadows and I’m afraid we live on one too. Quite often, the radar will show this mass of rain crossing the State with a gap just where we live. Down the road will get 20mm and we’ll get 2mm!

Bring it on, hope it makes the North East.

I’m told it’s going to be very widespread. We seem to get stuck in a rain shadow at times so hoping we don’t miss out either.
