How about that comment count for that post above. 
No more please or else you’ll stuff up this post title. Anyone new to my blog would look at that and think they were onto a literary masterpiece. There would be some head scratching when they realised all those comments related to a post that had nothing in it.
I’ve realised that we need an avenue for people who might want to post comments on subjects unrelated to the blog. Something along the lines of a graffiti wall where you can post comments about anything that takes your fancy hence you’ll see a page for comments on the top banner. For anything a bit more personal, you can use the email link if you want to tell me you love me or want to send me large amounts of money.
Please feel free to express your emotions and abuse me for all your worth if you like, but just remember, I have a Sicilian uncle called Alfonso who does house calls.

Duh? Where’s the “new spot?” Duh! Never mind I found it!
It’s almost 5:52 a.m. in your neck of the woods, so you’re probably having some coffee and a bite to eat. My clock is sitting at 11:51 a.m. so I guess I’d better go prepare lunch. The street I live on is very quite the only noise thus far has been the recycle truck hauling aways all our paper and plastic this morning. How’s that for a comment about nothing?
I’ve just risen to the start of another beautiful day and it’s now 6:40am or 12:40pm so your lunch might be on the go. I’m having coffee but nothing to eat yet as MP and I have a run of a morning and we wait until we get back. Hows that for a reply about nothing.

I don’t understand how the “Holidays End in . . . .” manages to stay on the top of the blog. Have you post-dated it? If so, that may account for it’s large number of comments.
It’s called a “Sticky Post” in WordPress. You tick that box when you write the post and it will stay on top. You’ll notice the date of the post is still 1 January.
