I know some of my faithful readers like to follow the exploits of one, Holly Muppet, so just a brief report as to her progress.
She is growing up and maturing fast and she started school in early February which she loves. She was tested for her literacy and numeracy skills last week and we’ve been told she is above average and at the top of her class. Hardly surprising considering her parenting and we’d like to think we’ve had some influence as positive role models too.
I haven’t any photos to show you but I do have one of a lovely little boy, Jackson. Jack is our nieces little fella and a beautiful temperament to go with the angelic face behind the corn. Laura is also doing photography courses and has an aptitude for taking great photos and this one is no exception.

On a totally unrelated note, I thought you’d like this DB. :- http://www.brooklyn3012.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=49&p=113#p113
Thomas – Gee, $50k for state of the art bike racks! They’d have to give you a rubdown and serve a latte for that! Talk about how money is spent on biking, the Bellarine Rail Trail is maintained by two groups. The Friends of the RT look after it from Drysdale to Geelong and it has lengths of bitumen track, beautiful shelters and picnic spots and seats all along the route. The Steam Preservation Society do the Drysdale to Queenscliff section and you have dirt track and ONE seat for their 17k section. Money is poured into biking these days but it’s distribution seems wonky at times.
You can leave unrelated comments in the “Comments” section at the top of the blog if you wish.
Did you look at the link/picture? they are “C” racks.
Sometimes called “Cracks”
Durr! I only glanced at the picture and didn’t click on it. We rode the Rail Trail today and I was chatting to the secretary of the RT Friends Group who was working along the track and told him about this incredible waste of money going on these fancy bike racks. And it’s not even April 1.
mmmm… can’t wait for corn on the cob season to be here again!
I see things are warming up slowly your way. Look forward to some more of your good weather photos.
We all knew she was way above average. Jackson is getting big too, how old is he now?
Jack will be 2 in July. Time flies.
That is one corny dude…
This is the guy you told me to keep an eye on. So far, so good.
I’m pleased to have news of dear little Miss Muppet. We all knew she’d be above average!
Jackson looks to be a cutie too. It is nice to see a child enjoying his veggies!
Two kids we know who eat their veggies with flourish.
