I live in lovely seaside town of Ocean Grove, Victoria, Australia with my partner (MP) and cat, Sam, but in a former life, I worked stressfully in the electricity industry but bailed out when all those buzz words started appearing, restructuring, downsizing, redeployment etc. Took on meter reading to give (MP) the illusion that I wasn’t prepared to sit on my arse all day and also to contribute to the travel kitty.
Finally retired to pasture in October 2007 and MP jumped ship in December 2007 and decided to keep the blog going in an effort to convince people that I don’t sit on my arse all day while retired!
Hopefully I succeed!
